Today was so weird. People kept asking me why I was at work in MLK holiday since I'm black and it's a black holiday. I told them I traded with TK my Korean co-worker. He wanted to stay at home with his son today so I let him be black. YM said that makes me Korean...after all I'm having a Korean baby. I got a good laugh out of that. I don't even really see and think in terms like this...I know it doesn't seem so by some of the things I do and talk about but for me I'm so pass some of the racial red lines.

As long as you believe in equality then you can celebrate MLK day...why should it be only for black people? And why do I have to take it off? What happens if I want to take off on a non-black holiday? This is my question with Chinese New Year. I plan on taking it off and wonder if the company will give it to me. Will they deny me cause I'm black?...should be interesting to find out.
